El casal en anglès

Com ja sabeu, aquest any hem incorporat l’activitat en anglès dintre del projecte dels casals d’estiu. De ma de l’Eva, la Paula i el Rubén els nens i nenes han dut a terme jocs, gimcanes, dinàmiques, tallers, danses, cançons…enfocades a aprendre anglès de manera lúdica. A continuació us expliquem algunes de les activitats realitzades, comentades pels monitors d’anglès.

ACTIVITATS DE PETITS

All through the Casal, the kids have been working on the song “Hickory Dickory Dock” and the story of “Little Red Riding Hood”. The song talks about animals such as the cat, the mouse, the monkey, the snake, the squirrel and the elephant and we have explored their habitats and parts of their bodies as well as their sizes and colours. By the means of theatre and exploring the story of Little Red, we have worked the vocabulary of the family, the animals in the forest and the parts of the house. Finally, the kids performed a little theatre play based on the story following basic grammatical patterns that had been repeated and learned through these 4 weeks.

A lo largo del Casal, los niños han estado trabajando la canción “Hickory Dickory Dock” y el cuento “Caperucita Roja”. La canción habla de animales como el gato, el ratón, el mono, la serpiente, la ardilla y el elefante y hemos explorado sus hábitats y partes del cuerpo así como sus tamaños y colores. A través del teatro y explorando el cuento de Caperucita, hemos trabajado el vocabulario de la familia, de los animales del bosque y las partes de la casa. Finalmente, los niños representaron una pequeña obra de teatro basada en la historia y siguiendo estructuras gramaticales básicas que habían sido repetidas y aprendidas a lo largo de estas cuatro semanas.

 

ACTIVITATS DE MITJANS

Segona setmana de casal! Després de fer unes activitats relacionades amb les pel·lícules Disney, vam animar als nens a inventar el final de les pel·lícules. Per grups, van representar el final com si fos una obra de teatre.

Second week! After doing some activities related to Disney Movies, children were encouraged to create another ending. Working in groups, they showed their own ending as in a theatre play.

Durant tot el mes de casal hem après l’anglès amb activitats lúdiques i a través del teatre. L’última setmana, vam decidir gravar l’obra de teatre que van crear els nens a partir del principi d’una història que vam llegir.

During the whole month, we have learnt English through playful activities and through theatre. Last week, we decided to film the theatre play children created from the beginning of a story we read before.

MUSIC COMPETITION

 

In this picture, the students have to link the song title with the right movie. They had such a great time! In addition, the got excellent feedback from the teacher.

COMPETICIÓN MUSICAL

 

En esta foto, los estudiantes tienes que unir el título de la canción con la película correcta. Se lo pasaron muy bien! Además, obtuvieron muy buena valoración de su profesor.

 

OLYMPIC GAMES

 

A basketball competition is about to start. The object of the game is to score more points that the opponent. The one getting better results will become the absolute winner. Plus, there are some more games to be completed in this activity. Those kids winning more tests will obtain medals at the end of the entire competition. 

JUEGOS OLÍMPICOS

 

Una competición de baloncesto está a punto de empezar. El objetivo de este juego es marcar más puntos que tu oponente. Aquel que consiga mejores resultados se convertirá en el ganador absoluto. Además, hay algunos juegos más que tienen que ser completados en esta actividad. Aquellos niños que ganen más pruebas obtendrán medallas al final de la competición.

 

THEATRE

 

This summer the theatre forms quite a source of inspiration for our kids. They were capable of transforming their ideas  into expressive richness. TEATRO

 

Este verano el teatro ha sido una gran fuente de inspiración para nuestros niños. Ellos fueron capaces de transformar sus ideas en riqueza expresiva.

 

CINEMA GENRES

 

Our little actors had to match each cinema genre with the pertinent  movie. First, the teacher intoduced and explained the different cinema genres in the blackboard. The pupils  became quite nervous with some of them as they were difficult to understand. However, after checking the results, the pupils got great comments from the teacher.

GÉNEROS DEL CINE

 

Nuestros pequeños actores tuvieron que relacionar cada género cinematográfico con su película correspondiente. Primero, el profesor presentó y explicó los diferentes géneros que hay en el cine en la pizarra. Los alumnos se pusieron bastante nerviosos al principio pues algunos de ellos eran difíciles de entender. Sin embargo, después de comprobar los resultados, los alumnos obtuvieron fantásticos comentarios de su maestro.
